I grew up in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and even as a young boy in school, I knew I wanted to build something big and meaningful, not because I had to, but because something inside me kept pushing me forward to achieve success, to serve my people and to one day contribute to my country in my own way through business.
My father was a first generation entrepreneur, who has established a tobacco business in our native region. Being a part of that business was always thrilling for me and after my school hours, I would ride my bicycle for kilometers, not just to the nearest market, but I went far beyond just selling his goods to the vendors, I would interact with them to understand their feedback, acting as nothing less than a salesman and an in person survey form to the business.It was here that the seed of dreaming big and succeeding was sown inside me. Looking back, I wasn't just earning pocket money. I was learning, without realizing it, what sales really meant and how a business actually grows from the ground up.
By the early 1980s, I had grown into a young adult standing at the edge of one of India's most ambitious economic moments. The government of the time, under the dairy vision championed by Dr. Verghese Kurien and the National Dairy Development Board had launched Operation Flood - India's White Revolution and one of the largest rural development programmes the world had seen. Its second phase, rolled out through the early to mid 1980s, expanded dairy cooperatives across the country and transformed India into a self-reliant milk economy. Many young and experienced entrepreneurs stepped forward to be part of it. But only a handful truly succeeded and stood the test of time. Around the same time, I also took charge of another venture namely SMC Power Ltd, a completely different industry, in a completely different state Odisha, far from the soil of Uttar Pradesh where Madhusudan had taken root.
For more than two successful decades, I led SMC Power through its most formative phase, building the systems and relationships that shaped its growth not just at state rather at national level.
After two successful decades of running SMC Power’s operations, the need to return home and join Madhusudan's dairy business fully and unconditionally began to take root in my mind and so, when the time came, SMC Power was passed to new ownership and I actively joined Creamy Foods Ltd back home.
Today, Creamy Foods Ltd, the home of the Madhusudan brand is where all my energy goes. What started as a single processing plant in Nanauta, Saharanpur, has today grown into four processing plants across Uttar Pradesh by early 2026, serving consumers through General Trade, Modern Trade, Quick Commerce, E commerce and HoReCa sector all across India. We are growing across India, but our compass has never moved away from Quality. Quality is the one thing we will never compromise on. To us, compromising on quality is not just bad business, it's the worst kind of unethical practice and it is something we simply refuse to be part of.
If this journey has taught me anything, it is that no one succeeds alone. Whatever Madhusudan has achieved today is not the result of one person's vision, it is the collective triumph of every individual who has been part of this story:

As we grow, my vision for Madhusudan stays exactly as it always was:
If there's one thing that genuinely excites me today, it is Technology. I often think if we would have access to it back then, our story might have unfolded very differently, and perhaps even faster. What I admire most about technology is that it gives us back our most valuable resource: Time. And if you ask me, time and health are the two real forms of wealth. Madhusudan takes care of people's health & Technology takes care of our time. Put the two together and I believe the years ahead will be landmark years, both for the dairy industry and for Madhusudan.
Looking back at this journey, I find it deeply enriching and I feel a real responsibility to pass on what I have learned. I want to and would love to guide and mentor the next generation, being there with the right advice whenever they need it on their own journeys and just as much, I want to keep learning from them, because I have come to believe by now that growth never has a finish line, there's always something new to discover, even from the people you are guiding.
